Berne Vaughan is an artist based in East Kent. He has exhibited and sold his work in many local galleries, including The Turner Contemporary, and has also had his work featured on Grayson Perry’s Art Club on Channel 4.

Deal and the Kent coast are a constant source of inspiration for Berne. The use of photography in Berne’s process is key in creating the final painting. He hard crops his photos to create interesting compositions and narrative.
